There were a few things wrong with the new items menu, allot of the time it would say the wrong item was now available like 'level3 clutch' instead of level4 clutch and then later into the game there was a whole load of garbled text in some of the boxes. I wonder if the American version is any better translated, or the same as the europe version.

Although it doesn't help that the fact that it's published by two different companies either.

TXR Drift doesn't sound too bad, it's just kinda confusing that each region the game has a different name. That may be confusing if you haven't played, but you'll understand soon after you start playing the Conquest mode.Īnyway, thank you very much for your time, and I am looking forward to your replies. And now instead of spending hours on one course because the "Slasher" is too hard to find, the Slasher now posts on the course's BBS (in game) after you've beaten everyone in that Parking Area, and all you do is answer and the next night the Slasher will be waiting for you in that course's Parking Area. You can customize things like the paint and decals, carbon fibre hoods and trunks, wheels, tires, engine components, turbos, cooling systems, CPU (and you can tweak the torque and power with the CPU), suspension (of course), braking systems, LSD, TCS, VCD, and the list goes on and on.įor those who have the first one (Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift) you will be happy to know that you get 2 courses to start with and expand from there. There is at least one car (and often more than one car) from each of these auto makers: Opel, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen, Audi, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen, Nissan, Honda, Acura, Mazda, Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Suzuki, ASL, and a few others (haven't finished the game yet so there may be more), all of which are fully customizable. You can use the Logitech Driving Force and the Driving Force Pro with it (the instruction booklet does not mention the Logitech G25 and I don't have one to test it ). You should try it or buy it for the following reasons: The price is under $20 in Canada. As far as I am aware no one has created a thread for Tokyo Extreme Racer Drift 2.
